Special Issue Introduction
Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) represent a promising class of targeted cancer therapies, combining the specificity of antibodies with the potency of cytotoxic drugs. Despite their potential, the clinical success of ADCs is often hampered by the development of resistance mechanisms. This Special Issue aims to explore these challenges and develop strategies to overcome ADC resistance, thereby improving their efficacy and expanding their therapeutic applications in cancer therapy.
Proposed topics include, but are not limited to:
1. Mechanisms of resistance to ADCs in cancer therapy;
2. Strategies to overcome resistance in ADC-based cancer treatments;
3. Clinical trials and outcomes of ADCs in combating drug-resistant cancers;
4. Innovations in ADC design and delivery to enhance efficacy against resistant cancers;
5. Combination of ADCs and other therapies against resistant cancers;
etc.
