2025 Recruitment for the First Batch of Global Junior Editorial Board Members– Cancer Drug Resistance
Cancer Drug Resistance (CDR), founded in March 2018 by OAE Publishing Inc., is a peer-reviewed, gold open-access journal that has quickly become a prominent platform in cancer drug resistance research. With a 2023 Impact Factor of 4.6 and a prestigious Q1 ranking in Oncology by Journal Citation Reports (JCR), the journal is indexed in ESCI, PubMed Central, and Scopus. Its academic reach continues to grow, reflected by an impressive CiteScore Tracker of 8.8 in December 2024, underscoring its position as a global leader in the field.
To further enhance its editorial team and strengthen its global presence, CDR is launching the 2025 Junior Editorial Board recruitment. We invite exceptional young scholars from universities and research institutions worldwide to join us in advancing the field of cancer drug resistance and driving the next wave of scientific progress.
Qualifications:
- A strong academic background and commitment to academic ethics.
- Expertise and active research interests in cancer drug resistance.
- Under 40 years of age with a Ph.D. or an associate professorship or higher.
- Proven high academic achievements and proficiency in English writing.
- Publication of at least 10 articles, including three high-quality papers as first or corresponding author in international mainstream journals in pharmacy, cancer research, or drug resistance within the last three years.
- Experience in peer reviewing for top-tier international journals and thematic planning is advantageous.
- Alignment with the journal's development direction and a willingness to contribute time and effort to its growth.

4. Financial Compensation
4.1 Article Processing Charges (APC) Discounts:
- Receive a 10% discount on future submissions for each completed manuscript review that adheres to our Peer Review Guidelines. Valid for two years after receiving the voucher notification.
- Note: All discounts are valid for two years. Upon completing each valid review, you will receive a voucher notification from the system, with the discount becoming active from the date the notification is received.
4.2 Travel Grant:
- Eligible Junior Editorial Board members can receive funding from $300 to $1,000 to promote the journal at relevant international conferences. Grants are based on the level of collaboration established for the journal (e.g., promoting the journal, inviting manuscript submissions, organizing Special Issues for the journal based on conference topics, etc.).
- Prior approval is required for travel grant applications. Applicants must submit relevant materials, including conference details (name, scale, time, location, agenda) and expected collaboration outcomes for the journal.

Responsibilities for Junior Editorial Board Members:
1. Academic Promotion:
- Actively promote newly published articles and share the journal’s updates on various social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, WeChat, etc.).
- Proactively promote the journal at international academic conferences and exchange platforms, enhancing the journal's visibility and influence. (We encourage sharing photos of your promotional efforts at events with the Editorial Office.)
2. Peer Review Participation:
- Thoroughly review at least three manuscripts annually to maintain the journal's high-quality standards.
3. Participation in Journal Activities & Development:
- Actively participate in Editorial Board meetings, academic seminars, and other events.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to identify cutting-edge topics for future publication.

Selection process:
1. Applications will undergo initial screening by the Editorial Office. Qualified applications will be forwarded to the Editorial Board for selection.
2. The selection results will be announced, and successful candidates will be notified via email and issued certificates.
