Special Issue Introduction
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is profoundly reshaping the field of gynecological surgery, providing innovative tools to enhance diagnostic accuracy, surgical precision, and patient safety. This Special Issue aims to highlight the most recent advancements in the application of AI for gynecologic surgery, with a particular emphasis on minimally invasive techniques, robotic assistance, advanced intraoperative imaging, and predictive modeling to support personalized therapeutic strategies.
We welcome original research articles, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses that investigate the integration of AI in both clinical practice and experimental settings. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: AI-guided surgical navigation, real-time anatomical recognition through augmented intelligence, deep learning algorithms for early detection of gynecologic malignancies, machine learning models for outcome prediction, and digital technologies for surgical training and simulation.
By fostering the intersection of technological innovation and surgical expertise, this Special Issue seeks to define new standards in precision surgery within the field of gynecology. We invite authors to contribute to this rapidly evolving domain and help shape a future of safer, smarter, and more personalized surgical care for women.
