Microbiome Research Reports Secures a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.2
We are delighted to announce that Microbiome Research Reports (MRR) has achieved a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.2, according to the latest edition of Clarivate's Journal Citation Reports (JCR). This milestone marks a substantial year-on-year increase of approximately 44.7%, rising from the 2024 Impact Factor of 3.8.

Following the release of the latest Journal Impact Factor, the journal has secured a position in the upper range of Q2 in the Microbiology category, currently ranking 42nd among 167 journals in this field. This achievement underscores the journal's sustained development and growing academic influence within the global microbiome research community.
Since its launch in 2022, MRR has focused on publishing high-quality and innovative research covering diverse areas of microbiome science, including host–microbe interactions and microbiome research related to human and animal health. The journal remains committed to providing an international platform for rigorous and impactful scientific exchange.
