1 December: JCA opened a new column of Webinars. Prof. Ali J. Marian host the first online webinar.

31 August: JCA was indexed in Dimensions.

15 August: JCA was indexed in Lens.

18 May: JCA became a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

10 May: JCA reached cooperation with ResearchGate.

7 May: JCA announced The Journal of Cardiovascular Aging Best Reviewer Award 2022.

28 April: JCA announced The Journal of Cardiovascular Aging Most Influential Papers Award 2022.

2021

7 December: JCA has been listed as a journal that follows the editorial recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

November: JCA obtained the ISSN  2768-5993 (Online).

13 October: The inaugural issue of JCA was officially published.

27 April 2021: The Journal of Cardiovascular Aging (JCA) was officially launched. Prof. Ali J. Marian from University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston, served as the Founding Editor-in-Chief.
