Biography:
Prof. Charles E. Butler, MD, FACS, is Tenured Professor of Plastic Surgery, the Charles B. Barker Endowed Chair in Surgery, and former Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Prof. Butler is an international expert in complex reconstruction, microsurgery, regenerative medicine, and oncoplastic breast and abdominal wall reconstruction. He served as President of the Plastic Surgery Foundation (2016) and ASRM (2017) and is renowned for clinical innovation, mentorship, and leadership in reconstructive surgery.

Biography:
Leading reconstructive microsurgeon and Microsurgery Fellowship Program Director at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Board-certified in General and Plastic Surgery, he also serves as Vice Chair for Health Information and Technology in MSKCC’s Department of Surgery. Dr. Matros is President-Elect of the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM) and President of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons (NESPS). His influential research focuses on patient-reported outcomes, disparities, and value-based care. A recipient of multiple national honors, including induction into the American Surgical Association, he is also the incoming Breast Section Editor for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Christopher Campbell

Biography:
Director of Microsurgery and Associate Program Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Virginia. An Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery, he is board-certified in plastic surgery and specializes in complex oncologic reconstruction and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Campbell serves as Principal Investigator for breast cancer outcomes research and contributes to national committees on trunk and pelvic reconstruction. Trained at the University of North Carolina, the University of Virginia, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, he has been a key leader at UVA since 2012, advancing innovation in reconstructive microsurgery and surgical education.

Dr. Sahil K. Kapur

Biography:
Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. A board-certified plastic and reconstructive microsurgeon, he specializes in breast reconstruction and oncologic reconstruction. Dr. Kapur also serves as Division of Surgery Safety Lead, Quality and Safety Officer, and Director of Clinical Informatics at MD Anderson, reflecting his leadership in clinical excellence and patient safety. He has received multiple institutional awards for quality improvement and research innovation and serves on the Editorial Review Board of Annals of Plastic Surgery. His work bridges surgical precision, data science, and patient-centered care.
