Prof. Rey is a French hepato-gastroenterologist whose main areas of expertise are on high definition endoscopy with electronic chromoscopy and digestive video capsule explorations (small bowel, stomach and colon). Prof. Rey was president of the World Endoscopy Organization (WEO) from 2017 to 2020.
