Special Issue Introduction
Langerhans cell histiocytosis is a myeloid neoplasm that can affect both children and adults. Over the past decade, significant advancements have been made in understanding the origins of the disease, as well as in the diagnosis and treatment. Further advances have been achieved in other histiocytic disorders, such as Erdheim-Chester and Rosai-Dorfman diseases.
