Special Issue Introduction

Neurotoxin and injectable filler materials have a long history of use in cosmetic medicine. In its inception, the use of BotoxTM for rhytids was an off-label application, but ultimately transformed the beauty industry as we know it. Present-day pioneers in this field persistently seek innovative approaches, utilizing existing tools while also inventing new ones. This Special Issue will explore current trends, novel applications, and the societal impacts of injectable cosmetic fillers and neuromodulators.
