Special Topic Introduction

The global demand for sustainable energy solutions has made advanced materials a key focus in modern research. Advances in Materials for Sustainable Energy 2025, building on the success of the 2024 symposium, continues to provide a platform for in-depth discussions on the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in the design, synthesis, and application of energy materials.

 

This Special Issue, focusing on Materials for Sustainable Energy: Design, Function, and Applications, highlights pioneering studies and transformative innovations in areas including:

● Novel materials for energy conversion, storage, and harvesting

● Structure–property relationships and functional characterization

● Sustainable and scalable synthesis strategies

● Emerging applications in clean energy technologies
